Lisa Herman

Lisa Herman has been an active professional in the horse world for 30 years and enjoys working with riders of all ages and abilities. She has worked with top trainers and all breeds of horses–especially Arabs, Morgans and Friesians–and helped horses and riders become regional champions.

Lisa earned her BA in equine studies from Centenary College in 1988 and in 2000 became a USDF certified instructor. She completed the first section of the USDF L program in 2014 and will complete the last section this year.

Although Lisa’s primary discipline is dressage, she has a background in jumping and western and works with horses and riders in those areas. Her gentle but firm and systematic approach to teaching and training helps horses and riders reach their goals. Lisa specializes in rehabilitating problem horses, helping them become useful, happy partners.
